The Bull Inn, Paisley is a traditional bar in the heart of Paisley. On New Street, in the centre of town, it is perfectly located for shoppers to head for a spot of lunch or a refreshing drink. The Bull Inn was designed by none other than W.D. McLelland, who was a student of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. At 108 years old, it's the oldest pub in Paisley. Now a firm favourite with a mixture of locals, tourists and students; the Bull Inn has kept many of its original features including its snugs, stained glass windows and wooden bar front and gantry. In Winter, (and some summers!) the traditional coal fire still blazes. Eagle-eyed visitors to the Bull Inn may recognize it from scenes from the 2008 film, "The Stone of Destiny" where the students plotted to seize the Stone of Destiny. Looking for somwhere to meet? We have four ‘snugs' at the back of the Bull Inn which can be booked, free of charge, for private parties, meetings or lunched. Stop by the Bull Inn for a cosy drink with friends or a spot of lunch in what is literally, a piece of history. The highlights at the Bull Inn, Paisley include:
