What is there to see and do in the area?

The Bull Inn in Paisley is the ideal venue for a relaxing drink or great value lunch after a day out enjoying the many attractions in and around the town.

Paisley is a historic town it has many examples of stunning architecture including Paisley Abbey- a magnificent Baptist Cathedral. It was founded in 1163 as a Monastery and is an excellent example of Victorian architecture built in Renaissance style.

Paisley Town Hall is a popular entertainment and conference venue. It hosts a variety of concerts, exhibitions and conferences.

Only a 10 minute drive from the Abbey Inn is Silverburn Shopping Centre. With almost 100 stores all undercover it's a great way to spend the day.

Scotland is the home of golf and there are many golf courses in the Paisley and Renfrewshire area including Barshaw, Paisley and Ralston. Further a field you can enjoy some excellent links golf on the Ayrshire coast.

To enjoy some of Scotland's best scenery cross the Erskine Bridge to Balloch, the gateway to the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

The Canal Station is a fantastic restaurant & bar in Paisley, located next to Paisley's Canal Street railway station. Offering a combination of Scottish and international cuisines and a vast selection of wines and cocktails.

Glasgow City Centre is only 6 miles from Paisley, there you will be spoiled for choice. Enjoy your choice of Art Galleries, Museums, architecture and theatre. You can also spend a day shopping in the best selection of shops in Scotland!

With so much to do in Paisley you may decide to stay a few days! The Abbey Inn is a great value hotel in Paisley, perfect for exploring all that Paisley and Glasgow have to offer.
